Superga shoes

Seeing as I've recently wrecked my new pair of Toms on holiday (lots of unsuspecting dirt/dust tracks), I'm well chuffed about the new Superga store that has just opened in Brighton.

As a heritage brand that started in 1911, Superga caught my eye. Their shoes are stylish and classy, as to be expected from an Italian brand, as Italy is home to the best food, fashion and lifestyle in the world.

I went for a pair of Superga's original model: the 2750s in burgundy, going for their standard thicker sole option to comfort my flat feet. The shoes are solid and well built. Superga offer a good selection of casual footware for men, including slim sole pumps, slip ons, mid tops and my choice, the classic lace-up 2750s, all available in a range of colours.

They also do a rainbow of colours available in the women's range, including some metallics and floral patterns (like the girlfriend got). And if you have a mini-me running around, there's baby Supergas too.

I'd say Superga are good value for money. I'd never pay over the top for a pair of pumps as from time to time, a lads night out can turn your box fresh white pumps into a pair of camo's by the next morning! We've all done it. But Superga shoes are in a good price range (at about £45 per pair) and offer a high standard of quality to go with it.

Brighton is the second Superga store to open outside of London and I think it's pretty cool to have Superga in my home town. The new store is located next to the Brighton clock tower, and if you're local I'd definitely recommend popping in. I would say to try before you buy,  as I had to go down a shoe size so look out for that. The guys and girls in the store are super friendly though and will sort you out.
